2018 Schedule
Basic 1 classes start April 7 this year. They typically meet 4:00 to 6:30 or 1:00 to 3:30. Most weekend classes will plan to meet once a week for six weeks, but most opt to double up once or twice: meet Saturday and Sunday, so it does not take so long to complete six lessons. There is a bit of homework, but we are always in a hurry to get out and sail. No one wants to sit in a classroom when the wind is blowing.
Evening classes start April 30. They meet twice a week, 6:00 to 8:30 for three weeks. Evening sailing conditions tend to be the best, and the twice a week pace is just about perfect. We are great fans of evening classes! Which evenings, you ask? Just about any two that are separated by at least one day. Let us know your schedule restrictions. We can often meld flexible students with the inflexible.
Because winds and people are variable it is impossible to schedule sailing with precision. But between April and September we can give you a start date this is probably within a week of being accurate (the further out the harder, obviously). Big Boats and Crusing is demand driven. We'll run the class when we have interested students.
Sea Trials and Bonneville are overnighters, also demand driven. Sea Trials (thee days, two nights) requires coordination with tides, but there is always at least one weekend per month with a good tide for safe bar crossing. We can do Bonneville (two days, one night) just about any time.

Your word holds your place in lieu of a 50% non-refundable deposit. Payment can be made on the first day of class. Please remember there are only three or four students per boat, so we and your fellow students take your promise seriously.
